Tourism Academy 2026 heads to Jacksonville, FL from May 12–15, and we’re inviting industry partners to be part of it. This one-of-a-kind conference is your opportunity to connect with key decision-makers at destination organizations, grow your brand presence, and be part of shaping the future of travel and tourism.
Who attends Tourism Academy?
Tourism Academy is Tempest's annual client conference, drawing tourism professionals from across the United States and Canada. Attendees represent a wide range of destination marketing organizations — from small CVBs to large state tourism offices — and span roles in leadership, marketing, sales, partnerships, and operations. In 2025, the event welcomed over 200 attendees from more than 90 destination organizations, and we anticipate continued growth in 2026.

- Unique networking opportunities, including our signature closing party and attendee concert
- Access to educational sessions led by Tempest, DMOs, and sponsors

- High-visibility branding and activation options, including premium booth space in a central location
GENERAL SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE ($3,500)
- Exhibition table and opportunity to display branded collateral.
- One full conference registration ($1,100 value), including access to all sessions, activities, and evening events.
- Opportunity to submit a session proposal for inclusion in the Tourism Academy agenda. Speaking opportunity is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of Tempest. Submitted concepts should be educational in nature and must include a destination organization and/or be case study–driven (not a sales pitch).
- Logo placement and recognition on official event signage, TourismAcademy.com, and promotional emails.
- On-stage mentions throughout the event, including during morning and lunch keynotes.
- Opportunity to provide branded items at the attendee registration desk.
- Option to host a private dinner with delegates on Wednesday evening or elsewhere throughout the conference (when not in direct conflict of Tempest-planned activities).
- Access to the attendee opt-in registration list (shared two months, one month, two weeks and one week leading up to the event).

Back by popular demand, this evening gathering celebrates Smart Women Who Get Sh*t Done — and the allies who champion them. Expect strong drinks and stronger conversation. - Prominent on-site signage and verbal recognition at the happy hour event
